Damage we see on Chery vehicles
Because the parc is so young, the damage we see is almost purely accidental rather than age-related: front and rear collisions on Tiggo 4 Pro and Tiggo 7 Pro models, side impacts at intersections, and hail on cars parked at complexes and office parks. Turbocharged 1.5 units come through with cooling-pack and intercooler damage that is straightforward mechanically but awkward to source parts for.

This is a market in the middle of forming. Workshops repairing Cherys out of the franchise network need used panels, lamps, bumpers and turbo engines now, and there are not yet enough donor vehicles to satisfy them. That imbalance means a damaged Tiggo often carries stronger salvage value than owners assume from a brand they think of as inexpensive.
