Sell your damaged Haval
Haval has become one of the fastest-growing badges in South Africa on the strength of the Jolion and H6, both of which offer a level of equipment that would cost far more from an established brand. The buyers attracted by that value proposition are often stretching to afford the vehicle, and a large proportion are financed. When one of those cars is damaged, the settlement conversation is about a car that is barely two or three years old, with a parts pipeline that still runs through a single importer and repair timelines that insurers would rather avoid.

Damage we see on Haval vehicles
The typical Haval file is a straightforward urban collision on a low-mileage car — front or rear impact with bumper, lamp, bonnet and airbag involvement — because the parc is too young for wear-related write-offs. Hail is the other significant category, and the large panoramic roof panels on Jolion and H6 models push those claims higher than the equivalent damage on a smaller car.
We buy Haval vehicles with accident damage, flood damage, hail damage, mechanical failure and non-runners, as well as insurance write-offs coded Code 2, Code 3 or Code 4.
What your damaged Haval is worth
Independent workshops and panelshops taking on Haval repair work need used stock that simply does not exist in volume yet, so demand outstrips supply on almost everything. Bumpers, headlamps, doors, tailgates and 1.5 turbo engines are the sought-after items, and that shortage keeps salvage values on damaged Jolions and H6s notably firm.
We buy Haval models across every year — older high-mileage vehicles right through to current-shape cars only a year or two old. Age matters far less than what the vehicle is worth intact and how sought-after its parts are, so it is always worth asking.
