Front-offset collisions on the Mazda3 and CX-5 are the most frequent write-off cause, since the high-strength front structure that protects the occupants so well is precisely what a panelshop cannot simply straighten. Mazda2 damage is more often light urban impact combined with airbag deployment, and BT-50 cases follow the bakkie pattern of rollovers and load-related rear damage.
