Bakkie and SUV rollovers are the defining Toyota damage pattern, especially on gravel routes in Limpopo, Mpumalanga and the Northern Cape. A rolled Hilux typically has extensive roof, pillar and panel damage while the engine, gearbox and differentials remain entirely serviceable. Corolla and Etios cases are more often urban front and rear collisions.
